The Lean practitioner facilitates improvement sessionswith a team and carries out improvement initiatives byusing the Lean methods and tools. The main focus is onachieving a ‘one-piece flow’ and reducing the 7 types ofwaste. Lean practitioners carry out these improvementinitiatives alongside their normal daily activities.During the lean practitioner course you will be taughtthe essential Lean improvement tools like value streammapping, Kanban, Kaizen, data-analysis and 5S.It is a hands-on training and it is designed around a simulation in which youimmediately apply what you have learned under supervision of a Lean expert.The aim of this course is not only to learn the Lean methods and tools but alsoto familiarise yourself with the lean improvement philosophy.
