Program Outline

With this course, you will learn to achieve statistically substantiated improvements. The course also delves deeper into designing processes from scratch using Lean Six Sigma methods and tools. The 10-day Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Manufacturing course is the most comprehensive Black Belt course in our offer. The course consists out of 2 days of Lean theory, 6 days of Six Sigma DMAIC project structure and 2 additional days covering Design of Experiments (DoE) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
After course you will be capable of reducing the variation in industrial processes in a structured and project-based manner. With Lean Six Sigma you create solid, high-quality processes. With Lean Six Sigma projects you work, amongst other things, on the percentage of rejects and re-work. By doing this, you also reduce the operational costs and therefore your projects contribute to strengthening the competitive position.

Course Pre-requisites

This course can be taken without specific entry requirements or prior knowledge in the field of Lean Six Sigma. You do not have to take the Green Belt course to be able to start the Black Belt course. Affinity with change management is a plus.

Exam

Online Exam (120 Minutes / 49 MCQs / Passing criteria 75%)

Materials

Each participant will get access to the Digital Learning materials that can be downloaded.  Process mapping and simulation through iGrafx. E-Learning videos at will assist in recap the theory and coaching for exam. Simulation through MIRO software.  Exam coaching support to prepare them for the examination.

Certification Body: Lean Six Sigma

All participants are required to sit for the Online Exam in order to be awarded the Certificate Of Completion. The exam consists of 75 minutes with 32 Multiple choice questions (MCQ). This is an open book exam with passing criteria of 75%.
Participants are encouraging to do project in order to apply the knowledge learned.  We support the participants by providing project coaching.  Upon completion the Project, the participants will earn the Certification of Achievement.  This fee is excluded from the training fee.
