Participants should be comfortable navigating the AutoCAD Electrical interface, accessing menus, toolbars, and commands. Trainees should be able to locate, insert, and modify electrical symbolsand components from the software’s extensive libraries. They should be capable of creatingaccurate and well-organized electrical schematic diagrams for various applications, includingcontrol circuits, power distribution, and motor control. Participants should be competent indesigning ladder diagrams and I/O drawings for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and controlsystems. Participants should know how to use AutoCAD Electrical automation features fornumbering and tagging wires, components, and devices consistently. Should be skilled inidentifying and rectifying design errors and inconsistencies using the software’s real-time error-checking tools. Participants should be able to generate reports and bills of materials (BOMs) basedon their electrical designs, helping with project documentation and procurement. Participantsshould have the ability to create 2D panel layouts and 3D representations of electrical controlcabinets and panels. Participants should have developed problem-solving skills to address designissues and errors effectively.
